Red Cliff to Host Miyazaki's First Drone Show

In a groundbreaking event for Miyazaki City, Red Cliff Inc. will organize the first-ever drone show at the 78th Miyazaki Summer Fireworks Festival, which is scheduled for August 1, 2026. Renowned for its drone show productions, Red Cliff aims to leave a lasting impression on attendees as this will be the first drone display open to the public in the city.

Showcasing Miyazaki's Beauty Through Light

The upcoming drone show will feature an impressive fleet of 500 drones soaring through the night sky, creating stunning light displays that celebrate the natural beauty and cultural charm of Miyazaki. One highlight will be the illumination of Aoshima Shrine, a prominent local landmark, embodying the allure of this tropical region known for its mild climate year-round and rich nature.

As the fireworks festival kicks off, the drone show is set to enhance the spectacle, promising a memorable experience for everyone present. To elevate the ambiance further, the festival will also showcase approximately 11,000 fireworks—around 1,000 more than previous years—adding a vibrant visual feast against the background of the night sky.
