On September 24, 2025, Buschiroad held its annual TCG strategy presentation, unveiling a series of exciting developments and future plans in the trading card game sector. Under the leadership of President Takaaki Kida, the event highlighted new product launches, upcoming events, and competitive initiatives aimed at enhancing the gameplay experience for fans of the beloved "Go-Toubun no Hanayome" (The Quintessential Quintuplets) card game.

Key Highlights from the Announcement



Release of Sleeve & Card Sets


A significant announcement was the launch of the "Sleeve & Card Set" featuring artwork from the original illustrator Negi Haruba. Scheduled to release on November 14, 2025, this set will include:
  • - 60 card sleeves featuring unique quintuplet illustrations.
  • - 6 new ability cards designed to complement those from Booster Packs 1-4.
The new cards will showcase illustrations that have been specially colored and crafted for this release, promising to be a treat for collectors and players alike.

Booster Pack Volume 5 Coming Soon


The eagerly awaited Booster Pack Volume 5, titled "Continuing Everyday Life," will be released in January 2026. It will feature a new illustration of Ichika by Negi Haruba. TCG enthusiasts are encouraged to stay tuned for more details, including the reveal of the new artwork as the release date approaches.

Upcoming Photography Contest


Following the success of the first "Goto-Card Photo Contest" held in June 2025, Buschiroad has announced the Second Contest. Full details are yet to be disclosed, but fans can look forward to showcasing their creativity and passion for the series once again.

Goto-Card Exhibition in Akihabara


On November 16, 2025, Buschiroad will host the "Goto-Card Exhibition 2025 in Akihabara." This event aims to cater to both card game players and casual fans, featuring exclusive artwork displays and interactive activities. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn how to play the game, making it accessible for newcomers to join the fun.

Goto-Card Cup with New Prizes


With new prizes announced for the "Goto-Card Cup" from November 2025 onwards, exciting changes are on the horizon. Winners in November and December will receive metallic foil versions of cards from Booster Packs Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. Additional winning card designs for early 2026 are still in development, as Buschiroad continues to engage its community through these exciting tournaments.

Goto-Card Festival Winter


Buschiroad is also set to hold the "Goto-Card Festival 2025 Winter" across three locations: Tokyo, Kyoto, and Nagoya, from October to December 2025. This festival will feature tournaments, workshops on how to play, displays, and merchandise, providing plenty of entertainment for fans.

National Championships on the Horizon


Starting from February 2026, Buschiroad will conduct regional qualifiers for national championships following the release of Booster Pack Volume 5. These competitions will culminate in a grand national final, showcasing the best TCG players across the country.
