The VALORANT Challengers Japan 2025 Season Finals, organized by Riot Games and the VALORANT Challengers Japan 2025 Executive Committee, took place on August 23rd and 24th at Keio Arena Tokyo. This highly anticipated event determined Japan's top VALORANT team, with an impressive attendance surpassing 8,000 people over the two days. In a thrilling turn of events, RIDDLE ORDER emerged as the champions for the second consecutive year, securing a place in the upcoming international tournament, VCT Ascension Pacific 2025, to be held in Bangkok in October.
The 2025 season implemented a circuit point system, dividing the competition into three splits. Points were awarded based on the team's performance in each split, culminating in the Season Finals where the top four teams with the highest circuit points fought in a double-elimination format.
Before the offline finals, an online event was held on August 6th and 7th, showcasing intense matches that led to RIDDLE ORDER, FENNEL, and NOEZ FOXX qualifying for the finals. The Grand Final featured a showdown between the upper bracket champion RIDDLE ORDER and FENNEL, who secured their spot in the finals through an electrifying lower bracket match. RIDDLE ORDER claimed victory with a 3-1 map score, solidifying their status as champions.

Champion’s Reflections
The victorious team members shared their thoughts on the victory and expressed their determination for the upcoming VCT Ascension Pacific. Player JoxJo stated, “I am thrilled that we could prove our hard work and efforts. Our minds were set on winning, and we trusted our training, which paid off at this championship. Although I feel some pressure heading to VCT, I’m confident we can win.”
Yatsuka credited coach ryota- for their success, while Caedye expressed pride in achieving a historic fourth consecutive championship in Japan. The team emphasized their collective effort and strategic unity throughout the tournament. The two-day event also featured a special talk session on DAY 1 with guest players from DetonatioN FocusMe and ZETA DIVISION, as well as a surprise appearance by VALORANT ambassador Yuya Tegoshi. A captivating exhibition match on DAY 2 pitted Tegoshi's ‘TEAM Tegoshi Yuya’ against ‘TEAM takej’, with the latter coming out on top, showcasing an exciting prelude to the Grand Final.
