Cango Inc. Launches EcoHash for High-Performance AI Computing Solutions

Cango Inc. Launches EcoHash

Cango Inc., a leading Bitcoin mining company listed on the NYSE under the symbol CANG, has recently announced the launch of its subsidiary EcoHash Technology LLC. This new venture specializes in high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) inference technology. The official launch of EcoHash's digital platform at www.ecohash.com marks a significant step in Cango's mission to integrate AI computing with energy solutions.

EcoHash's platform is designed to facilitate efficient operations in HPC and AI inference, targeting two primary audiences: developers focused on low-latency computing close to the source and operators managing energy-intensive computing environments. This strategic engagement aims to bridge the growing demand for AI computing with the necessary infrastructure and energy availability.

According to research from Goldman Sachs, energy demand for data centers in the United States is projected to reach 700 terawatt-hours (TWh) by 2030, mainly driven by AI inference workloads. However, current infrastructure can only supply around 300 TWh, resulting in a structural gap of approximately 400 TWh. EcoHash aims to address this challenge by leveraging Cango's global energy footprint to deploy standardized, ready-to-use computing modules connected through its exclusive orchestration platform, EcoLink.

EcoLink is a groundbreaking system that unites and manages geographically dispersed computing capabilities, ensuring professional-grade availability through intelligent failover options. The result is a cloud-like elastic computing environment with low latency that scales seamlessly based on demand.

In support of this initiative, Cango has allocated space within its 50 MW mining facility in Georgia, USA. The site will utilize existing energy infrastructure to operate full-spectrum showcase models in real-world container configurations, demonstrating expected performance across various thermal and power settings. This facility is not only intended to prove the commercial viability of EcoHash's ready-to-use modules but also to serve as a strategic validation center within the expansive digital and mining ecosystem.

By presenting effective performance in multiple configurations, Cango invites global partners to integrate with the EcoHash network. This collaborative approach is aimed at constructing a robust and distributed electric grid for AI applications, replicating the success of its Georgia model across high-potential sites both domestically and internationally.

Jack Jin, EcoHash's Chief Technology Officer, shared his insights, stating, “At the core of our strategy to develop a future-ready platform, EcoHash represents our next growth engine as we now enter an accelerated commercialization phase. Our exclusive orchestration layer acts as the central nervous system of our network, enabling real-time intelligent resource allocation. Decentralized energy assets are directly connected to the inference requirements of large language models, generative AI, and a growing range of compute-intensive applications as our node infrastructure expands.”

As the demand for advanced AI applications continues to surge, EcoHash aims to provide scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions that not only enhance computational capabilities but also address the pressing energy needs of modern data centers. This launch is positioned as a pivotal moment in the evolution of AI computing, as Cango strives to lead the market by bridging the gap between energy and high-performance computing solutions.
