Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Dynacity's Christmas

Dynacity, a vibrant commercial complex located in Odawara, Kanagawa, is set to host its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony on November 15, 2025. This year marks a special milestone as they celebrate their 25th anniversary, transforming the iconic Christmas tree into a festive birthday cake adorned with a bright red ribbon. The ceremony will take place at the West 1F entrance, promising a cheerful and warm atmosphere filled with holiday spirit.

A Festive Celebration

In a heartwarming tribute, the theme for this year's lighting ceremony is "Wonderful Christmas 2025", which invites everyone to join the elves known as 'Tonttu' who assist Santa in spreading joy and gratitude during the holiday season. Guests can experience a magical adventure through the different areas of the facility—WEST, WALK, and EAST—while immersing themselves in the various stories of gratitude highlighted throughout.

The event will feature a collaboration with tvk’s music variety program "Kannai Devil," with exciting live performances. Among the special guests, the talented Hitomi Shimatani will brighten the occasion with her mini concert.

A Majestic Christmas Tree

Around eight meters tall, the anniversary tree will greet visitors upon arrival, decorated to embody the essence of a celebration cake. The tree will shine brightly and illuminate the spirit of the holiday, creating a perfect backdrop for holiday photos. Each area in Dynacity will also be adorned with unique decorations, showcasing themes that capture the holiday spirit.

Discover the Joyful Tonttu

Five unique Tonttu figures, inspired by Nordic folklore, will be spread throughout the venue. Visitors can embark on a fun quest to find these whimsical little helpers, each adding a charming twist to the holiday festivities. This interactive search not only entertains but also fosters a deeper connection with the spirit of Christmas.

New Illuminations and Events

This year marks the debut of the East Event Park's garden illumination, where visitors can relax while enjoying hot beverages surrounded by sparkling lights and festive decor. The garden area promises to be an inviting space to soak in the magic of the season.

The lighting ceremony will include two parts leading up to the big moment. Starting with performances from regular members of the show, such as Eiji Oba and Kumi Nakajima from LokuRok, the audience will be treated to exclusive talks and lively mini-concerts. Following that, Hitomi Shimatani will grace the stage as the special guest.

Children’s Activities and Holiday Fun

On the day of the lighting ceremony, children will have the opportunity to display their creativity through decorating a street piano embellished with Tonttu illustrations. After the ceremony, this piano will be available for the public to play, adding to the joyful ambiance of the event.

Additionally, a Christmas-themed quiz rally will engage guests in a fun scavenger hunt throughout the facility, rewarding correct answers with sweets and even shopping vouchers in a limited offer for those registered on the Dynacity official LINE account.
