In a significant step towards renewable energy advancement, Sungrow, a global leader in photovoltaic inverter solutions and energy storage systems, has announced a strategic partnership with KTISTOR Energy. This collaboration aims to deploy the innovative PowerTitan 2.0 liquid-cooling battery energy storage system (BESS) across several pivotal projects in Greece. This initiative marks the first introduction of PowerTitan 2.0 in the Greek market, set to bolster grid stability and support the nation’s energy transition goals.

Project Overview



Sungrow will supply its cutting-edge PowerTitan 2.0 BESS for four key energy storage installations located in Northern and Central Greece, with a combined capacity of 105 MWh. The systems are scheduled for delivery in the summer of 2025 and are expected to play a vital role in enhancing energy system resilience in the region. The projects include:

  • - Dokos Project in Rodopi: Permitted for 8.875 MW over 2 hours, with a usable installed capacity of 25.065 MWh.
  • - Petra Project in Kozani: Licensed for 7.8 MW for 2 hours, providing 20.055 MWh.
  • - Agia Anna in Viotia: Approved for 7.8 MW over 3 hours, delivering a usable capacity of 30.09 MWh.
  • - Agia Anna II in Viotia: Also licensed for 7.8 MW over 3 hours, with a capacity of 30.09 MWh.

Each of these installations will utilize the PowerTitan 2.0 system, showcasing Sungrow's advanced production capabilities and logistical expertise.
