The theme for this year’s hackathon is “HACK the Universe”, challenging participants to rethink and redefine the cosmos using technology. With rapid advancements in AI, the scope of what can be developed in a short time frame is expanding significantly. HACK SONIC shifts focus beyond mere technical prowess to explore deeper questions: Who are you creating for? What value do you wish to deliver? Why is this project important to you? This hackathon emphasizes crafting products that resonate with the heart and spirit of innovation.

• - DAY 2 (September 26): This day is dedicated entirely to hacking, with optional consultations available for teams seeking feedback on their projects.
• - DAY 3 (September 27): Participants will showcase their product prototypes during the Demo Day, followed by judging and a celebratory meet-up to conclude the event.

Prizes and Recognition

Winners of the hackathon will be awarded a cash prize of ¥100,000 along with recognition as pioneers of innovative technology. Judging criteria will focus on participants' emotional engagement with the theme, technical challenges overcome, user experience design, and uniqueness of their ideas.
