Times Parking Introduces Four New QR Code Payment Options for Customers

Enhanced Convenience with New Payment Methods in Times Parking

On August 28, 2023, Park 24 Co., Ltd., based in Shinagawa, Tokyo, announced a significant upgrade to its "Times Club App". This app, part of a member-based point program that offers free membership and annual fees, now allows users to pay parking fees at Times Parking using four new QR code payment methods: Rakuten Pay, d払い, au PAY, and メルペイ.

The Times Club App facilitates a digitally integrated experience for users, enabling them to accumulate Times Points and enjoy exclusive offers at partner stores. Users can also register their credit cards for seamless payment processing.

Parking customers at Times are already accustomed to a variety of payment options, including cash, credit cards, transit IC cards, Times Points, and QR codes. To further enhance convenience, Park 24 implemented a feature in 2022 that allows parking fees to be settled directly via the Times Club App without needing to use a payment machine. In 2023, the app expanded its capabilities with the inclusion of PayPay for payments.

In response to the increasing diversification of payment methods and rising consumer needs, the addition of Rakuten Pay, d払い, au PAY, and メルペイ provides users with an even wider range of choices. This initiative aims to make Times Parking more accessible than ever.

Moreover, payments made through PayPay and the newly added QR code payment options not only earn Times Points but also accumulate points from the respective QR code payments. This dual benefits system allows users to maximize their rewards.

Park 24 remains committed to advancing the services offered through Times Parking, focusing on enhancing payment systems to provide a more convenient and pleasant experience for users. This continuous evolution is part of the company's broader strategy to adapt to the changing landscape of customer expectations in mobility.

As the business moves forward, customers can expect even more payment options and services designed to enhance their experience when using Times Parking. In addition, the registered trademark "QR Code" is owned by DENSO WAVE INC.

With these advancements, Park 24 aims to redefine convenience in parking services, making it easier for everyone to manage their parking needs with efficiency and ease, thus contributing to a better overall mobility environment.
