Aile Becomes Sponsor of the Japan Padel Corporate League to Boost Recognition

Aile Partners with Japan Padel Corporate League

Aile, headquartered in Osaka and Tokyo, has recently announced its sponsorship of the Japan Padel Corporate League (JPCL), which is managed by BW Consulting, starting in April 2026. This partnership aims to enhance the visibility of padel, a racket sport that is gaining popularity among people of all ages, while also supporting its growth across Japan. In addition to sponsorship, Aile will participate in the league, enabling both internal and external employee interactions and promoting health within the organization.

Understanding Padel and the League Sponsorship

Globally, padel has seen a remarkable increase in its participation numbers, with approximately 30 million players worldwide, and Japan’s athletes are competing at the highest Asian levels. With Japan’s padel community reaching around 42,000 players, the sport is in its developmental stage, yet has already showcased remarkable performances such as the Japan women's team winning gold at the Asian Games. The upcoming inclusion of padel in the 2026 Asian Games is set to shine a spotlight on this sport.

Padel is characterized by its strategic gameplay that utilizes walls for ball rebounds, making it accessible for all skill levels. Unlike tennis, which requires a larger court and longer rackets, padel features a smaller court with unique shot variations, allowing for enjoyable matches that prioritize tactics over pure strength. This makes padel an appealing lifelong sport for everyone.

About the Japan Padel Corporate League (JPCL)

The JPCL, established by a former Japanese national player in 2026, is Japan's first corporate padel league backed by the Japan Padel Association, which is affiliated with the World Padel Federation. The league will host several events throughout the year, allowing teams of four or more members, including mixed-gender teams, to participate. Not only does it encourage inter-company competitions, but it also fosters continued collaboration among enterprises.

The league aims to create opportunities for players while ensuring that padel reaches younger generations and students, contributing to the sport's growth and recognition.

Aile’s Vision and Padel Division Initiatives

Aile has a mission to bring to light the hard work and ingenuity of individuals in various roles within corporate structures, facilitating creative business practices. In doing so, Aile seeks to support meaningful initiatives, regardless of their visibility, to cultivate a kinder society. Although padel is gaining traction, there exist challenges like low awareness, limited facilities, and a shortage of instructors compared to mainstream sports.

The JPCL aims to establish a professional league in time, and has designed a partner system for those willing to contribute to the league’s development, aligning perfectly with Aile’s vision, thereby solidifying their sponsorship engagement.

In February 2025, Aile launched its own padel division, PAILLS, bringing together approximately 20 members from various departments who engage in activities several times a month. The members share that their experience in padel has not only helped ease work-related stress but also fostered strong relationships and teamwork, showing the game’s benefits on and off the court.

Feedback from PAILLS Members

Department Head: Initially a novice, I found that since everyone was new to padel, we quickly adapted and began to enjoy the sport. Engaging in physical activity away from work fosters deeper bonds among team members and introduces stimulating interactions that can translate into our professional roles.

Third-Year Employee: Practicing with colleagues I had never interacted with before has opened up new waves of collaboration. Playing padel has taught me key teamwork and quick decision-making skills that I can apply in my work environment, fostering a spirit of camaraderie across various departments.

As we continue to highlight the advancements of padel and its exciting potential, Aile’s padel division will remain proactive in promoting the league while ensuring ongoing support for its management.
