About Ai Noguchi


Ai Noguchi discovered rock climbing during a family trip to Guam in the fifth grade. Within just one year, she won the All Japan Youth Championship and went on to achieve remarkable success throughout her career. In 2008, she became the first Japanese woman to win the Bouldering World Cup, a feat she repeated 21 times, alongside numerous other prestigious titles. Her career crescendoed with a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, after which she retired to become a professional climber.
