This summer, the beloved character from the pore care brand "毛穴撫子" (Nadeshiko), produced by Ishizawa Laboratory, is making a grand appearance across Okinawa! From TV commercials to digital displays, Nadeshiko-chan is transforming local media with the launch of the limited edition "Okinawa Shikuwasa Baking Soda Foam Cleanser," made with Okinawa-grown Shikuwasa.

Nadeshiko-chan will be featured in her very first TV commercial aired in Okinawa! The TV commercial is set to run from August 1 to August 31, 2025, across Okinawa with some appearances on internet platforms.

Yui Rail, the only monorail service in Okinawa, has designated one of its trains to resemble Nadeshiko-chan’s cozy room! Inside, you will find her treasured clothes, photos from her island adventures, and even drawings she created, showcasing her love for manga. Hop on board from August 1 to August 31, 2025, to take a look into Nadeshiko-chan’s personal space!

Explore International Street with Nadeshiko-chan

As you stroll through International Street, a bustling shopping area in Naha City, prepare for a delightful surprise! Approximately 98 digital screens along the 1.6km stretch will be displaying charming visuals of Nadeshiko-chan. These screen displays will synchronize every ten minutes, ensuring you don’t miss a moment of the fun from August 4 to August 31, 2025.

The official brand site "Nadeshiko Town" has been transformed to reflect the vibrant streets of Okinawa! Featured at the entrance are cute Shisa statues welcoming visitors, and you’ll spot Nadeshiko-chan in her colorful traditional attire. Navigate around the virtual town to immerse yourself in Okinawan culture! This special theme will be available from August 1 to August 31, 2025.
