Starting from May 2, 2026, Plus One Education, a subsidiary of Riso Group based in Tokyo, will host a five-day horse riding camp in the majestic landscapes of Hokkaido. This camp is not just about riding; it promises a complete experience that includes horse care and the thrill of riding amidst the breathtaking backdrop of Niseko’s vast nature.

A Unique Educational Opportunity

With a focus on young learners from grades one to nine and some high school students (previous STS horse riding tour participants), this camp aims to cultivate a sense of self-efficacy in children. Riding horses larger than themselves, participating in their care, and experiencing the beauty of Hokkaido's outdoors will offer participants numerous success experiences enhancing their confidence.

Qualified instructors will provide attentive guidance, ensuring that even beginners or children away from home for the first time will feel secure and supported throughout the adventure.

Activities That Foster Growth

1. Riding and Ranch Life: This camp promises rich experiences in the expansive nature of Niseko. Participants will engage in various activities including horse care and exploration within a stunning environment filled with clear streams and expansive forests, allowing them to enjoy life on the ranch.

Baking Memories: The final day concludes with an exciting bread-making experience, allowing kids to enjoy the delicious homemade bread at Niseko Bears Lodge—a highly praised accommodation among guests. Daily Schedule Highlights

- Day 1: Depart from Haneda Airport, fly to New Chitose, then travel by bus to Niseko. Begin with farm exploration, horse interactions, grooming, and riding experiences.
- Day 2 & 3: Engage deeper in riding and grooming activities, craft making, and outdoor riding adventures immersed in nature.
- Day 4: Similar to earlier days, with ongoing riding and horse care routines.
- Day 5: Hands-on bread-making using Hokkaido wheat before returning to Tokyo.
