Starting July 2025, Konica Minolta Planetarium will offer an exciting new line of palm-sized capsule toys that bring the beauty of the cosmos right into homes! Available in five unique designs, the Konica Minolta Planetarium Star Dome and Infinium Σ (Sigma) Mini Projector will be sold across all five planetarium locations in Japan: Ikebukuro, Asakusa, Yurakucho, Yokohama, and Nagoya, as well as in the official online store of Gallery Planetaria and selected amusement facilities nationwide.

Introducing the Star Dome: A Miniature Universe



The Star Dome is crafted to resemble a snow globe, capturing the essence of each planetarium's unique interior with premium seating areas reproduced in meticulous detail. As you shake the dome, stars twinkle and dance, offering a glimpse of the special atmosphere found at each planetarium. This innovative design allows fans and newcomers alike to take home a piece of the unforgettable experience.

The Star Dome collectible will feature:

Alongside the Star Dome, the Infinium Σ (Sigma) Mini Projector offers a nostalgic experience through its hand-held design that beautifully mimics the advanced optical projectors used at Planetarium Manten and science centers across Japan. Collaborating closely with the development team, this mini projector promises an authentic experience to users.

Upon activation, users will be treated to a projection of one of five constellations: Ursa Major, Cygnus, Cassiopeia, Canis Major, or Orion, turning any room into a personalized planetarium. This projector guarantees a magical experience regardless of location, making it a must-have for stargazers!
