Illuminations to Brighten Keio Yomiuriland Station with a Magical Touch from October 2025

Upcoming Magical Illuminations at Keio Yomiuriland Station

Starting October 23, 2025, Keio Yomiuriland Station will transform into a sparkling wonderland as it features dazzling illuminations in accordance with the highly anticipated event, "Yomiuri Land Jewel Illumination 2025 LIGHT HOP⤴" held at the amusement park Yomiuri Land. This year marks the 11th iteration of this stunning visual display, curated by renowned lighting designer Mikako Ishii, adding a touch of magic to the everyday commute for station users and visitors alike.

An Enchanting Display of Lights

The illuminations will be showcased from the 23rd of October until the 5th of April, illuminating the station's platform from 4 PM to 9 PM each day. The installation will feature approximately 40,000 LED bulbs, designed with environmental sustainability in mind, promising a vibrant yet eco-friendly experience.

This year, the lower platform's theme reflects Yomiuri Land's recent 60th anniversary, symbolizing the park's growth through the use of triangular motifs, representing the first steps in its journey forward. Meanwhile, decorations on the upper platform will take inspiration from the vibrant logo of the newly opened Giants Town Stadium, which started welcoming guests on March 1, 2025.

Special Train Services for Visitors

To accommodate the expected influx of visitors during this festive season, Keio Yomiuriland Station will offer special express train services on select weekends from November 29 to December 31, 2025. Specific dates will be determined, including 14 days marked on the provided calendar, ensuring a seamless travel experience for guests arriving at Yomiuri Land to enjoy the jewel-themed illuminations.
