This October, Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder will transform the skies of Northern New Mexico with the inaugural 'Light Up The Links' Balloon Glow. This exciting community event will take place from October 1 to 2, 2025, at the beautiful Towa Golf Course, providing families and guests with an unforgettable experience centered around hot air balloons and live entertainment.
Event Highlights
The centerpiece of this enchanting event will be the majestic Zozobra hot air balloon, standing 135 feet tall and casting a mesmerizing glow alongside 16 other vibrant balloons as the sun sets.
For those looking for a little thrill, tethered rides are available for $20 per person, allowing guests aged four and older to ascend 100 feet into the air for breathtaking views. These rides will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, so early arrival is encouraged. The event kicks off at 5:00 PM each day, with food trucks, local vendors, and children’s activities available before the balloon glow begins at 6:00 PM.
Local artists and authors will also make an appearance, with interactive storytelling sessions for children, highlighting the community's rich cultural fabric. Guests will have the chance to indulge in delicious offerings from seven local food trucks, alongside craft beverages from Santa Fe Brewing Company.
