HRGL Achieves B Corp™ Certification for Corporate Governance Excellence

In a significant milestone, HR Governance Leaders Inc. (HRGL), led by CEO Shigeru Uchigasaki, has announced that it will be awarded the prestigious B Corp™ certification by April 2025. B Corp™ certification, managed by the non-profit organization B Lab™, requires companies to pass a rigorous examination across five key areas: governance, employees, community, environment, and customers. Unlike traditional business models that focus solely on maximizing shareholder profits, B Corp™ certified companies aim to create value for all stakeholders involved. Currently, there are approximately 10,000 certified businesses globally, with only 55 in Japan, reflecting the growing interest in sustainability and impact investing.
