The Fifth Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Culture and Arts Festival
The highly anticipated
fifth Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Culture and Arts Festival officially opened on the evening of
September 16, 2025, at the iconic
Guangzhou Opera House. This year’s festival is an expansive celebration of culture and art, featuring a collaboration between the
Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, the
People's Government of Guangdong Province, and the governments of both the
Hong Kong and
Macao Special Administrative Regions.
Spanning over the next month, the festival encompasses an impressive array of
over 100 performances, 19 exhibitions, and more than
150 community activities across 11 cities in the vibrant Greater Bay Area. The festival is structured around five primary themes:
