August 26, 2026, making it a perfect summertime drink packed with flavor and refreshing characteristics.
This delightful beverage highlights the best attributes of ripe Nanko ume, which are individually pitted to extract their fruity essence. The base of this unique cocktail features an original ume syrup mixed with 100% Kishu Nanko umeshu blended with mango juice, delivering a deliciously flavorful experience. Adding a twist, the drink is topped with handmade fruit ice made from the same ripe ume syrup, finished with a light tonic soda.
But that’s not all—the drink garnishes include a foam of ripe ume yogurt, a meticulously prepared umeshu compote, a slice of fresh orange, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with ripe ume syrup, served alongside traditional ume monaka snacks. The culmination of these elements creates an exceptional cocktail that beautifully balances the fruitiness reminiscent of peaches and a solid tartness that is characteristic of ume, making it an ideal drink for the hot summer days.
A Dual Offer of Indulgence
The new cocktail comes in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic variants, catering to all preferences. Additionally, visitors can savor dishes thoughtfully curated to enhance the enjoyment of umeshu, including appetizers and desserts that pair wonderfully with the cocktails. The
Ume Afternoon Tea & High Tea course offers over 100 different drinks available for a two and a half-hour all-you-can-drink experience, with a final order accepted 30 minutes before closing.
This course design allows diners to explore umeshu tasting flights featuring 3 to 5 different types of umeshu, along with popular ume cocktails, including non-alcoholic options. Guests can also enjoy complimentary hot beverages like coffee or tea as they relax in a stylish and casual atmosphere. It’s an inviting location for leisurely lunches, enjoying café time with family and friends, or simply unwinding during shopping trips.
