KUBARA's New Home-cooked Meal Series
KUBARA, a renowned brand under the Kuhara Honke Group based in Fukuoka, is set to revolutionize home cooking with its latest launch: the new
Home-cooked Meal Series. Available starting March 1, 2026, this innovative series combines traditional cooking flavors with the convenience of microwave preparation. In response to the growing demand for quick meal solutions, KUBARA brings forward two standout products: the
Torotto Nasu no Agebitashi (Eggplant in Soy Sauce) and the
Shoga Kaoru Gobou Tori Soboro (Gobo and Chicken Stir-fry), alongside the
Chikuzenni no Moto (Chikuzen Stew Base).
Unique Features of the New Products
- - ### Torotto Nasu no Agebitashi
This vegetable dish can be prepared in just six minutes in the microwave, offering a sumptuous texture that's reminiscent of authentic Japanese cuisine. Utilizing a base of
ago (flying fish) dashi, the dish is enriched with sweet, Kyushu-style soy sauce. Enhanced by special oils infused with ginger and green onions, this dish showcases a depth of flavor that will surprise anyone who tries it.
- - ### Shoga Kaoru Gobou Tori Soboro
Made with cut burdock root and ground chicken, this dish is ideally suited for quick preparation, taking only five minutes in the microwave. A sweet and savory sauce featuring black mirin combined with hidden notes of garlic and ginger creates a glossy and flavorful dish perfect for lunchboxes or as a side.
Tusukenzumi: A Taste of Fukuoka
The
Chikuzenni no Moto is inspired by Fukuoka's traditional
Gamen-ni, a dish that combines various ingredients cooked together for a comforting meal. The name is derived from the meaning of collecting ingredients, which captures the spirit of home-cooked meals. This quick-cooking base cuts the usual preparation time from 50 minutes down to just 20 minutes by utilizing pre-cooked vegetables, making it family-friendly and accessible.
