XCMG Showcases 17 Cutting-Edge Excavators at bauma China 2024

At the prestigious bauma China 2024 event, renowned for showcasing the latest advancements in construction machinery, XCMG Excavator made a strong impression by unveiling an impressive lineup of 17 flagship excavator models along with four main component sets. This showcase highlights XCMG's commitment to sustainable development in the construction machinery sector, particularly through the introduction of energy-efficient electric excavators.

The electric models, characterized by their vibrant green colors, attracted significant attention from attendees. Among these were the XE19EV and XE27EV models, specially designed for the European market. These machines underwent rigorous testing to ensure their durability and reliability, receiving high praise from European operators who experienced their exceptional performance and operating comfort firsthand.

In Europe, known for its high industrial standards and strict regulations, mini excavators weighing between 0 to 8 tons have gained popularity. At bauma China, XCMG displayed the XE35E, XE55E, and XE80E models, all of which meet stringent efficiency and emission standards tailored for the region. The XE35E model stands out for its versatility, featuring 360° rotation, remarkable stability, and smooth control. Its unmatched power and performance make it ideal for confined spaces, particularly in crowded urban areas and indoor construction sites. This model is widely used across various applications including earth-moving tasks, civil engineering, forestry, and other construction projects throughout Europe.

Continuing its focus on specialized market needs, XCMG is expanding its comprehensive range of products while emphasizing tailored solutions for specific applications such as forestry equipment and wheeled excavators. Notably, the XE125F excavator, designed for timber harvesting and chipping tasks, garnered attention for its unique design. Additionally, the hybrid hydraulic excavator XE800WDM, which allows users to switch between power modes depending on working conditions, generated excitement among industry representatives. Further enhancing its showcase, XCMG introduced the PCR300 demolition robot, which weighs only 2 tons but boasts the demolition power typical of a 6-ton excavator. Also on display was the XE155WECR wheeled hydraulic excavator, notable for its tight turning radius of just 1.75 meters, which sparked lively discussions among attendees.

At the exhibition area dedicated to XCMG's main components, four notable products drew the crowd's attention: a 900-horsepower crawler bulldozer, a miniexcavator, a temperature-resistant crawler excavator, and a 400-ton crawler excavator. The latter, measuring 3.6m x 1.5m x 2.2m and weighing 10,220 kg, features tracks and gears made from high-hardness alloy steel, specially treated to enhance impact and wear resistance. Additionally, the supporting roller undergoes integral heat treatment post-forging, ensuring high strength and load-bearing capacity.
