Unveiling the Guinness Lovely Day Project
As St. Patrick's Day approaches, Guinness is inviting beer lovers from coast to coast to partake in a unique celebration of togetherness through their new
Lovely Day Project. This initiative seeks to capture and share genuine moments when people unite to enjoy pints of Guinness while celebrating life’s delightful experiences.
Share Your Story
From March 6, Guinness encourages fans to snap photos and share their St. Patrick's Day festivities. Each shared moment might feature in their upcoming commercial, highlighting the authentic connections that emerge when friends gather for a drink. Joyce He, Vice President of Guinness, remarks, “Guinness is crafted by brewers but comes to life through the people who savor it. We want to uncover and narrate real stories about what a ‘Lovely Day for a Guinness’ truly means.”
How to Participate
To join the Lovely Day Project, interested participants can easily upload their celebratory photos through a special QR code available in various locations or by accessing
pov.camera/guinness. Selected stories will not only feature on the official Guinness social media handles but may also shine on billboards nationwide.
Celebrations Nationwide
As part of this coast-to-coast adventure, Guinness plans to travel across the United States, aiming to showcase unexpected moments of connection. This initiative resonates with the spirit of community, celebrating what makes St. Patrick’s Day a joyful occasion filled with excitement and unity.
Exciting Prizes Await
In the lead-up to the grand celebration, Guinness is also holding a
40 Days of Guinness Giveaways. Fans can enter a consumer sweepstake to win various prizes, including the grand prize of a trip to the new Open Gate Brewery in London. Visit

Notably, the brand will be the official sponsor of the annual Chicago River dyeing, signifying the spirit of the holiday.
Local Brewery Events
Special events will also take place at the
Guinness Open Gate Brewery in both Chicago and Baltimore. In Chicago, visitors can delight in live music, delicious food, and festive brews all month long, while Baltimore is set to host immersive experiences that celebrate local culture.
Special Collaborations
To mark the occasion, Guinness has partnered with
PopUp Bagels to introduce a limited-edition cream cheese spread infused with the smooth flavor of Guinness Draught, available at all PopUp locations from March 13 to 19.
The Spirit of Community
Through the Lovely Day Project, Guinness aims to capture heartwarming stories that reflect the joy of community and connection. As fans prepare for the celebrations, whether they're toasting with a pint of Guinness or its alcohol-free counterpart,
Guinness 0, the message remains clear: wherever you are, it’s a lovely day for a pint of Guinness with friends. Join the Guinness Lovely Day Project and celebrate what truly matters in life—togetherness, friendship, and the memorable moments created over pints.
