Huawei Introduces Upgraded AI-Centric Xinghe Smart Network to Accelerate Smart Transformation Across Sectors

Huawei’s Innovative Leap: The Xinghe Smart Network

At the recently held HUAWEI CONNECT 2025, Huawei introduced the revamped Xinghe Smart Network, showcasing an intriguing vision for the future of data communication in our increasingly intelligent world. With the theme "Shaping Smart Connectivity in the Age of AI" the summit gathered industry experts, including Leon Wang, the head of Huawei’s Data Communication Product Group, who unveiled this ambitious solution aimed at accelerating the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and networking.

The emergence of AI has been reshaping industries at an unprecedented pace. It is fostering transformative changes within organizations, emphasizing three major demands from networks: efficient computing capabilities, guaranteed service experiences, and protective measures against unknown threats. The Xinghe Smart Network addresses these demands by adopting a three-layered architecture centered on AI, segmented into the AI-centered brain, AI-driven connections, and AI-enabled devices.

Key Features of the Xinghe Smart Network

The enhanced solution offers a plethora of specialized connectivity services and experiences tailored to business needs, ensuring zero packet loss, high efficiency, deterministic low latency, and a zero-trust security framework across all scenarios. Delving deeper, Huawei's approach involves four foundational solutions designed to empower various industries: Xinghe AI Campus, Xinghe Smart WAN, Xinghe AI Architecture 2.0, and Xinghe AI Network Security, thereby facilitating a smarter transformation.

1. Xinghe AI Campus

This initiative aims to extend security from the digital realm to the physical world, establishing a holistic security campus. Among the remarkable developments is the introduction of Wi-Fi Shield and unauthorized access prevention technologies released last year, effectively tackling air interface and endpoint access security issues. Additionally, Huawei announced the industry's first wireless access point capable of identifying hidden cameras, safeguarding against threats to trade secrets and privacy 24/7. This innovation brings centimeter-level micro-movement detection, allowing for accurate identification of human presence in critical areas such as executive offices and research labs, thus ensuring comprehensive spatial security.

2. Xinghe AI Architecture 2.0

This component optimizes computing power for both general and AI-specific tasks, unleashing capable processing. It features a unified simulation of keys and security devices that significantly reduce service delivery times from seven days to just five minutes. The solution supports real-time identification of over 200,000 service streams, enabling swift detection of any faults within seconds. In AI computing scenarios, Huawei's in-house AI detection and integrated training-extraction scheduling engine facilitates an agile transition between the roles of GPUs, achieving a full 100% computational capacity utilization and a 10% increase in extraction performance. Furthermore, the unique four-plane architecture provided by Huawei, which incorporates a two-layer cluster network connection, claims to reduce costs by 40% compared to traditional three-layer designs, underlining its role in establishing an optimal AI computing foundation.

3. Xinghe Smart WAN

This solution offers businesses on-demand computing power through highly capable, integrated computing-network services. It presents smart enterprise private line services in two versions (Basic and Pro) and employs the lossless Starnet algorithm for transmission with zero packet loss over long distances, ensuring less than 5% computational efficiency loss while keeping critical data within the company. The approach significantly lowers initial investments while supporting flexible scaling and enhancing both data security and computing efficacy.

4. Xinghe AI Network Security

Focusing on AI versus AI, this paradigmatic solution builds a zero-trust security infrastructure suitable for all scenarios. Utilizing extensive data from over a hundred cloud nodes around the globe, Huawei trains comprehensive AI security models, achieving a 95% detection rate for unknown threats – a leading figure in the industry. These AI security models integrate seamlessly with local firewalls, allowing for the real-time identification and mitigation of threats, especially when combined with the Emulator engine for detecting virus variations.

In addition to these solutions, Huawei’s NetMaster acts as an automated network operator providing round-the-clock operation and maintenance. This solution ensures the quick restoration of network services and reliability in connectivity. It can accurately detect deployment locations for access points, environmental interference, and overall user experience. Furthermore, when typical Wi-Fi issues like weak coverage or high interference arise, it computes the most optimal solutions from coverage area, interference, and load sizes, successfully rectifying 80% of wireless faults automatically.

Collaborative Innovations

At the summit, Huawei also shared successful collaborative innovations with prominent industry clients such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, Shandong University, and iFLYTEK, alongside global deployments involving notable institutions like Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau, Shenzhen Welkin School, China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd., and Resorts World Sentosa (Singapore). These comparative case studies, spanning education, energy, finance, and critical enterprise sectors, serve as paradigms for global digital and intelligent transformation.

Staying true to its philosophy of "AI for everyone, Everything's IP," Huawei remains committed to continuously innovating and advancing its Xinghe Smart Network products and solutions. Its collaborative efforts with global customers and partners will foster the establishment of AI-centric networks, collaboratively shaping the intelligent age ahead.
