Taiwan Weeks 2026: A Global Meeting of Investment Minds

From November 3 to 13, 2026, Taiwan will host Taiwan Weeks 2026, an event designed to elevate its position as a leading asset management hub in Asia. Organized by the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE), in collaboration with several financial institutions, this year's Taiwan Weeks aims to bring together global investment managers, exchange leaders, and institutional investors.

During the event, under the theme "From Tech Island to Capital Hub," participants will explore Taiwan's strengths in technology and capital markets. The gathering is part of Taiwan's initiative to solidify its role within global supply chains and cater to the growing demand for asset management services in Asia. Dr. Jin-lung Peng, Chairman of the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC), emphasized the importance of this gathering in further strengthening international ties and showcasing Taiwan's investment landscape, especially as global markets evolve rapidly.

The inaugural Taiwan Weeks in 2025 saw tremendous success, attracting nearly 28,000 visits and hosting more than 1,200 institutional participants from around the world. This year's event is set to include a broader array of topics and a diverse range of influential figures from the financial sector.

Key Themes and Events

Taiwan Weeks 2026 plans to host over 12 main events and more than 30 related activities, featuring participation from over 30 asset managers, banks, and securities firms. Key topics include artificial intelligence (AI), exchange-traded funds (ETFs), financial resilience, and innovative financing solutions.

Among the highlights of Taiwan Weeks 2026 will be the Grand Opening event on November 3, where global asset managers and international exchange leaders will discuss developments within global capital markets and explore Taiwan's market potential. Furthermore, on November 6, the Asian Asset Management Center Forum will highlight Kaohsiung's asset management zone's progress, while the TiBOOST-INNOVATION GROWTH PROGRAM on November 10 will connect promising AI startups with funding sources and international investors.

Additionally, the Asian Corporate Governance Association (ACGA) will celebrate its 25th annual conference in Taiwan for the first time during this event, which is expected to attract professionals worldwide in the fields of investment and corporate governance, thereby strengthening Taiwan's links with the global capital markets.
