The Design and Symbolism of the Coin

The reverse side of the coin features a remarkable design by Canadian artist Glen Green. This artwork showcases the iconic Canadian maple leaf mosaic, enhanced by vibrant shades of red and orange on the colored coins, symbolizing the unity among fans cheering for their soccer heroes. The official emblem of the FIFA World Cup 2026 is etched on the left, while a moving soccer ball is depicted on the right, nestled above the names of the two Canadian host cities: Toronto and Vancouver.
