In an exciting development, Mattamy Asset Management, the parent company of Mattamy Homes and a diversified asset management firm, has announced the appointment of Kathleen (Katie) Taylor as the new Chair of its Board of Directors. This decision marks a significant moment for the company, which is known as one of North America's largest privately held homebuilders.
Kathleen Taylor brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having served in various executive capacities across both public and private sectors. Notably, she has a strong background in international business, corporate strategy, customer experience, risk management, and corporate governance. Taylor has been a member of Mattamy's Board since September 2022, and her extensive knowledge and skills are expected to contribute greatly to the strategic direction and growth of the organization.

Furthermore, she is a director at Air Canada and plays an active role in the not-for-profit sector as the Chancellor of York University and Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Hospital for Sick Children.
Her previous experience includes serving as Chair of the Royal Bank of Canada and leading both CPP Investments and the prestigious Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, showcasing her diverse and dynamic career. Taylor is also engaged with several reputable organizations as a member of the C.D. Howe Institute's National Council and Co-Chair of their Human Capital Policy Council. This depth of experience positions her uniquely to steer Mattamy Asset Management into its next phase of development.
