Tokyo Senior Community Exchange Event 2026
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is gearing up for the highly anticipated "TOKYO En-Joy!" 2026 Tokyo Senior Community Exchange Event, designed to foster social interaction and an active lifestyle among seniors aged 60 and above. With the aim of creating an enriching society for the elderly, this event will serve as a platform for over 1,000 active seniors living in Tokyo to come together and showcase their talents.
In its fifth edition, the 2026 event is introducing esports as a new category, further diversifying the activities on offer. Participants can look forward to exciting competitions in various disciplines, culminating in a colorful celebration of senior vitality and creativity. The application period for competition participation has now closed; however, the event promises an engaging experience for all attendees.
Event Highlights
Special Guests to Cheer on Participants
On January 24, Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike will attend the karaoke event, adding her voice to the festivities and elevating the atmosphere with a special live performance.
Additionally, each category will feature En-Joy supporters, including well-known personalities who will help energize the event while interacting with participants.
A variety of experience corners will be set up for all attendees who want to join in on the fun, so be sure to come and be part of the excitement!

For the karaoke event:
- - Karaoke: January 24, 2026, 10:30 AM - 5:10 PM, includes a live performance by professional singers at 2:20 PM. Governor Koike will also be supporting the event!

- - Esports: February 21, 2026, 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM | Venue: Tokyo Gymnasium Sub Arena
Engage and Compete with Friends
At this event, not only will seniors get the chance to showcase their skills, but participants who excel in their respective categories (excluding karaoke and esports) will also be considered for the Tokyo representatives for the 2026 Saitama Prefecture Nenrin-Pick.
En-Joy Supporters to Amp Up the Fun
The event will enjoy the presence of various En-Joy supporters who are expected to interact with participants and add to the overall joy of the event.
For instance,
- - For Karaoke: Eiko Segawa will host a live performance on January 24 at 4:20 PM.
- - For Health Mahjong: Pro players like Yosuke Ide will facilitate a tournament event on January 17.
Special Initiative: M-League Matches
A special event is also planned, featuring professional M-League players. This event is designed to engage aspiring Mahjong enthusiasts in a friendly competition with their idols.

Visitors will have the opportunity to engage in various fun and interactive corners tailored for everyone:
