Global CerAwards: CeraVe Celebrates Over 100 Content Creators from 22 Countries

CeraVe Celebrates Global Talent with the First Global CerAwards

On June 4, 2026, CeraVe, a prominent skincare brand developed in collaboration with dermatologists, held its inaugural Global CerAwards event at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, California. This historic ceremony celebrated 111 award-winning content creators from 22 countries who were recognized for their exceptional contributions to skincare education.

A Visionary Initiative

Established in Spain in 2023, the Global CerAwards is an annual competition that invites content creators, dermatologists, and healthcare professionals to showcase their best skincare-related content. This year, the awards expanded globally, drawing over 5000 submissions through local competitions held in 22 countries. The top 111 winners had the opportunity to participate in the first-ever international finals, where they competed for the title of best content creators in skincare before an international jury.

With over 15 million followers worldwide and billions of views across various platforms, CeraVe has become one of the most discussed skincare brands on social media, thanks to contributions from both content creators and medical influencers. The combined reach of participants at the Global CerAwards topped 44 million followers, highlighting the impactful community that continues to educate audiences about CeraVe's dermatological innovations.

Immersive Experiences at CeraVe Studios

An engaging aspect of the Global CerAwards was the CeraVe Studios, an immersive content creation space located within a Hollywood studio. With elaborate set designs and professional actors, the creators were encouraged to push the narrative boundaries of skincare by integrating CeraVe's cleansing and sunscreen products into four unique storylines:

  • - Raywatch: Inspired by iconic slow-motion beach scenes, participants ran across a simulated beach on a windy day, demonstrating the sand resistance of CeraVe's sunscreens.

  • - The SPF Games: Contestants had just three seconds to reach shelter using giant CeraVe sunscreen props. Those who failed to get protected in time were sprayed with water, but CeraVe's sunscreen remained intact due to its water-resistant formula.

  • - Stunt N' Sweat: Participants were thrown into dynamic rooftop chases, overcoming obstacles under intense sun exposure to test the sweat resistance of CeraVe's Invisible Hydrating Sunscreen.

  • - Mission Cleanser: This challenge required contestants to maneuver through a laser beam maze symbolizing a damaged skin barrier to reach CeraVe Foaming Cleanser, reinforcing an essential skincare principle of not letting the skin feel 'tight' after cleansing, meaning the barrier is compromised.

These interactive narratives captivated attendees, showcasing the scientific foundations behind CeraVe's formulas, which contain three essential ceramides, identical to those naturally occurring in human skin.

Celebrating Creativity and Innovation

The ceremony culminated in a gala evening at the Wiltern, where creators gathered to honor talent, creativity, and originality—factors that shape digital skincare culture. Hosted by actress and comedian Meg Stalter, the international jury included actress Bailee Madison, dermatologist and content creator Dr. Andrew Park, and CeraVe’s Senior VP of Global Medical Affairs Gene Colón.

The first winners of the Global CerAwards were inducted into the Ceramide Squad, a global network of CeraVe content creators. The awards recognized outstanding creative achievements and the best materials produced throughout the project.

Commitment to Science and Community

Since its inception in 2005, CeraVe has combined science-driven skincare with educational initiatives. With its three essential ceramides and expertise in skin barrier functionality, CeraVe has created a new model for engagement among dermatologists, medical professionals, and content creators on social media, empowering millions of consumers worldwide with skincare knowledge.

Vincent Chauvière, President of global brand CeraVe, stated, "CeraVe has always been at the forefront of modern communication culture with consumers. The inaugural Global CerAwards elevates this mission by uniting 111 creators from 22 countries in a unique Hollywood project aimed at inspiring creativity and reimagining the possibilities at the intersection of artistry, science, and entertainment."

Dr. Andrew Park noted, "CeraVe understands the power of social media as a tool to make knowledge about skin health more accessible. This project not only inspires creativity but raises the bar for educational skincare content on social media."

As CeraVe continues to revolutionize the skincare industry, the Global CerAwards stands as a testament to the brand’s commitment to celebrating the creativity and innovation of content creators while fostering an inclusive community dedicated to dermal health and education.
