The Exciting Return of the Long Island Wine & Food Classic in 2026

Long Island Wine & Food Classic is Back!

The Long Island Wine & Food Classic is set to return to Farmingdale State College on September 19, 2026. This beloved event promises to deliver an incredible culinary experience featuring over 25 restaurants and more than 20 beverage companies, ensuring a feast for the senses.

What to Expect

This year's Classic is not just a tasting event; it's a celebration of the finest culinary offerings from Long Island. With Chef Eric LeVine at the helm, guests can anticipate exquisite dishes paired with local wines, craft beers, premium spirits, and refreshing non-alcoholic options under a massive 80-foot by 200-foot tent. Each ticket includes access to all tastings and entertainment, making it an unforgettable day filled with flavors and fun.

After a hiatus in 2025 due to the Ryder Cup, the event returns bigger and more vibrant, reflecting the community’s resilience and passion for good food and drink. According to Steven McKenna, the event's founder and producer, "This event was created to bring the very best of Long Island's food and beverage community together in one extraordinary setting. We are committed to delivering a larger, more exciting experience that celebrates our hospitality professionals while supporting a meaningful cause."

Chef Eric LeVine

Leading the culinary charge this year is the highly acclaimed Chef Eric LeVine, renowned for his establishments like 317 Main Street and Vico Costiera Amalfitana. Chef LeVine's expertise and vision will curate an exceptional lineup of beloved restaurants, decorated chefs, and emerging culinary talents, along with specialty food manufacturers from Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Entertainment by DJ CHEF

The excitement will continue throughout the evening with musical entertainment provided by DJ CHEF, known as “The Chef That Rocks!” This talented performer not only spins tracks but also engages the audience with culinary demonstrations and lively interactions. Having showcased his skills on major networks like Bravo and FOX, DJ CHEF will ensure the atmosphere is electrifying as attendees sip and savor.

Supporting a Great Cause

What makes this event even more special is its commitment to supporting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. A portion of the event’s net proceeds will aid in providing mortgage-free homes and essential support to the families of fallen and catastrophically injured military heroes and first responders. This initiative underscores the community's commitment to giving back while enjoying a celebration of culinary excellence.
