The Fair Play Menarini International Awards have reached a significant milestone, celebrating their 30th edition. Held at the Italian National Olympic Committee's (CONI) hall of honor, this celebration highlights athletes from various disciplines, showcasing not just victories but the vital ethos they provide to the sports community.

The ceremony brought together an impressive array of champions who have captivated audiences worldwide. As Luciano Buonfiglio, President of CONI, stated, “We are thrilled to gather here to celebrate 30 years of the Fair Play Menarini Award. Among the distinguished honorees this year is Armand Duplantis, the world record-holder in pole vaulting, symbolizing athletic excellence. The football realm is represented by Gianfranco Zola, a beloved figure in Italian sports history. Notably, Gregorio Paltrinieri, a prominent swimmer, and Achille Polonara, a rising star in basketball, are also recognized for their achievements. Other celebrated athletes include Antonella Palmisano, a champion in race walking, Chiara Mazzel, renowned in paralympic skiing, and Daniele Garozzo, an Olympic fencing champion and ambassador for Italian fencing.

The event will culminate in an award ceremony on July 2, held at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence. This evening promises to honor some of the most notable figures in international sports, and it will be broadcast in collaboration with Sky TG24. The event will see Rachele Sangiuliano, Michele Cagiano, and Omar Schillaci serve as presenters alongside legendary sports commentators like Federico Buffa.
