Discovering Kyushu and Okinawa's Art Scene at SHOWCASE vol.3
The Company The Chain Museum is all set to host its third installment of the thrilling exhibition series titled
SHOWCASE vol.3: Kyushu / Okinawa by ArtSticker. This captivating event is scheduled to take place at the unique dining gallery
Art ka Biifun ka Paichu, located in Roppongi, from
March 6 to March 21, 2026. This exhibition aims to showcase the rich artistic heritage and vibrant talents emerging from the Kyushu and Okinawa regions.
As part of the promotional activities leading to the event, The Chain Museum invites artists actively working in these areas or those originating from there to submit their artwork for consideration. The submission window will be open from
December 18, 2025, until February 8, 2026. This initiative reflects the museum's commitment to nurture and foster art communities in local regions, and it seeks to bridge the gap between offline and online artistic interactions.
Aiming to Connect Artists and Audiences
The mission behind the
Art ka Biifun ka Paichu gallery is to create an accessible space for both artists and art lovers to connect over their shared passion for creativity and expression. The gallery’s initiative, launched in January this year under the name
SHOWCASE by ArtSticker, focuses on highlighting emerging talents by featuring artists from across various regions of Japan in a public exhibition format.
In the era of online galleries and digital art appreciation, the challenge remains to provide opportunities for local artists to present their work directly to audiences. This exhibition will serve as a hub for new artistic encounters and collaborations, emphasizing the importance of physical galleries in today’s art scene.
Showcase Highlight: Kyushu and Okinawa Artists
This particular iteration will not only feature selected works submitted through an open call but will also include guest artists, enriching the exhibition with diverse artistic perspectives from Kyushu and Okinawa. Organizers hope this approach will inspire fresh connections and creative dialogues that transcend geographical boundaries.
