Get ready for an unforgettable experience this summer! The Beach Soccer Summer Camp 2026 will be hosted at Chigasaki Fishing Port Park from July 28 to July 30, led by the talented Hayate Tanaka, a member of the Japanese national beach soccer team.

Hayate Tanaka, who plays for Tokyo Verdy Beach Soccer, is not only an exceptional athlete but also an avid promoter of the sport. He runs the DELTA Chigasaki Beach Soccer School, where he imparts his skills and knowledge to young players in the area. This summer camp, now in its third year, is designed for elementary school students, providing a unique opportunity to learn the fundamentals of beach soccer in a fun and engaging environment.

- Dates: July 28 (Tuesday) to July 30 (Thursday), 2026
- Time: 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM (1st to 3rd graders), 5:15 PM - 6:15 PM (4th to 6th graders)

This camp is open to beginners, as most participants will be experiencing beach soccer for the first time. Tanaka encourages kids to step out of their comfort zones, emphasizing the importance of developing skills such as ball control, decision-making, balance, and core strength—all while having fun on the sand.

"Beach soccer is a sport that allows for enjoyment while honing essential skills that also apply to regular soccer,” says Tanaka. He highlights that the camp will not only be an opportunity to learn but also to make wonderful summer memories.

The camp firmly believes in fostering a welcoming atmosphere where children can receive new stimuli and challenges. Participants can opt to attend for just one day or all three days, making it flexible for families. It's a marvelous chance to enjoy seaside sports and meet new friends.

Hayate Tanaka’s Background

Born on May 11, 2000, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Tanaka has a rich history in soccer, beginning in preschool! He played for the junior youth team of Yokohama F. Marinos and graduated from a prestigious high school soccer program. Transitioning to beach soccer during his university studies, he has successfully represented Japan on the international stage.
