In fact, the proper use of age- and size-appropriate restraints can considerably minimize the risk of fatal injuries by an astonishing 71% for infants and 54% for toddlers aged 1 to 4 years. This funding will empower the hospital's Child Passenger Safety Program to offer essential car seat inspections and education for families in the region.
