Primrose Schools® Partners with Dad's Garage to Bring Characters to Life in New Interactive Show

Primrose Friends Live: An Exciting New Adventure for Kids

Primrose Schools®, a leader in early education, has recently announced a vibrant partnership with Dad's Garage Theatre Company, which will bring beloved characters from the Primrose Friends series to an interactive, live stage performance. This exciting new venture, titled The Primrose Friends Live, commences on March 14th and will run every Saturday through April 18th at the Dad's Garage Theatre in the Atlanta area. The show aims not only to entertain young audiences but also to support their social-emotional development.

The Primrose Friends are an enchanting group of relatable characters who help children grasp essential life lessons including kindness, responsibility, confidence, and teamwork. This project is a natural extension of Primrose Schools' innovative Balanced Learning® approach, which combines purposeful play with nurturing guidance to encourage curiosity and compassion among children. Through music, storytelling, and imaginative play, Primrose aims to provide families with shared, meaningful experiences that extend beyond the classroom.

Families attending the show can expect to enjoy not only the performance but also pre-show activities commencing at 2 p.m. ET. These activities include live entertainment, an art station where children can partake in creating parts of the show’s set, and plenty of opportunities for them to engage in fun and creativity. The main performance begins at 3 p.m., featuring a range of engaging stories, songs, and jokes inspired by the character-building traits that children at Primrose schools across Atlanta learn daily.

Mike Schatz, Senior Creative Director at Primrose Schools, commented, "The Primrose Friends help children understand big ideas in ways that feel joyful and approachable. Bringing these characters to life on stage allows families to experience the heart of our Balanced Learning® approach together." He further emphasized the partnership's purpose of extending valuable learning experiences outside traditional educational settings by blending engaging education with entertainment.

Children, particularly those aged 2 to 5, will be delighted by the chance to engage directly on stage during the performance, whether it’s sharing a funny joke or singing along to their favorite songs, allowing every child a moment to shine. Myehla Reneau, a Franchise Owner at the Primrose School of Grant Park, echoed the sentiment of community joy, stating, "Watching children from our community radiate joy, sing along and confidently step on stage is a powerful reminder of why experiences like this matter."

Dad's Garage Theatre Company, known for its creative prowess, contributes its expertise to ensure that the show's content is both entertaining and developmentally beneficial for the young audience. This wonderful partnership also aligns with the Primrose Friends' YouTube channel, where kids can already find songs, stories, and videos featuring their favorite characters.

For families in the greater Atlanta metro area eager to participate in this unique, fun-filled experience, tickets are available for purchase through the Dad's Garage website. This collaboration signifies a meaningful step in enriching the educational journey of children, fostering a love of learning through creativity, laughter, and engaging storytelling.
