2. LightMix® OneTube Gastro Para 2 Assay (for research use only): A multiplex test that incorporates real-time PCR detection of multiple pathogens, including cyclospora along with others like Entamoeba histolytica and Giardia.

Both tests are designed for use with Roche’s LightCycler® 480 and LightCycler® PRO instruments, offering laboratories the flexibility of using single or multi-pathogen tests depending on their requirements. This allows labs to not only detect cyclospora but also other gastrointestinal pathogens in one go, which enhances efficiency in diagnostic settings.
