The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), recognized as India's leading educational institution, has made significant strides in expanding its international influence and fostering innovation through its newly established entity, the IIT Madras Global Research Foundation (IITM Global). In 2024, IIT Madras signed a memorandum of understanding with Dubai Economy and Tourism, aligning with the ambitious Dubai D33 Economic Agenda. An essential component of this initiative is the substantial USD 3 million R&D grant provided by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF).
