First Collaboration: Osaka Brand Products Event
Osaka is known for its rich craftsmanship and innovative products, and now, residents of Tokyo will have the chance to experience this firsthand. From May 14 to June 3, 2025, the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi store will host a special event featuring 13 certified products under the Osaka brand, which has received the endorsement of the Osaka Prefectural Governor. This marks the first collaboration between the Osaka brand and the Mitsukoshi department store, aiming to highlight the outstanding manufacturing capabilities of the Osaka region, especially in light of the upcoming Osaka-Kansai Expo.
The event will showcase a variety of unique products, with a focus on blending functionality with contemporary design. Among the featured items is a
cast iron pot designed for miso soup, addressing the prevalent iron deficiency issue among modern women. Another innovative item includes the
CHOPLATE®, which serves as both a cutting board and a plate, allowing users to cut and consume food seamlessly. Additionally, the
OMOSHIROI BLOCK, a note block that reveals beautiful designs as you use it, will surely capture attention.
