Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities Co., Ltd., led by President and CEO Hiroyuki Naka, has officially announced the opening of applications for its startup support program, the Japan Inclusive Ventures Lab (JIVL), which will begin on February 12, 2026. The company is excited to reveal that three startups have been selected as the participating companies for the third phase of the program: ArchiTwin Inc., Elcyo Inc., and NewNorm Design Co., Ltd. As part of the support program, the company plans to invest in these selected startups and is currently preparing for the necessary contractual agreements, which will be announced as soon as they are finalized.

Launched in 2024, JIVL aims to promote the business development of Japanese startups founded or operated by diverse entrepreneurs, including women and those from various backgrounds. The program focuses on three key missions:

1. Building a Global Startup Ecosystem in Japan: JIVL is dedicated to establishing a supportive environment for startups that aspire to engage with global markets from their inception.

ArchiTwin provides digital twin services that replicate real-world construction sites and naval environments in 3D. By integrating various data and IoT information, the company enables remote monitoring and management of site conditions, addressing issues such as labor shortages and improving site management efficiency.

2. Elcyo Inc. (Website: elcyo.com):
Elcyo has developed a revolutionary “Auto-Focus Glass” using its unique Fresnel liquid crystal lens technology, which automatically adjusts focus. Their vision is to create a world where everyone can see what they want, when they want, overcoming visual challenges such as presbyopia and myopia regardless of age or environment.

NewNorm Design offers a digital platform for sustainable building materials known as “Matinno.” This platform evaluates and visualizes the sustainability and environmental impact of construction materials and manages material information project-by-project, facilitating reuse and recycling.
