Explore the 'Weaving Your Space' Exhibition at HAY Tokyo
From October 31 to November 9, 2025, HAY Tokyo invites design enthusiasts to experience an exclusive showcase under the theme of “Weaving Your Space.” This exhibition will feature remarkable designs that redefine our living environments, emphasizing the blurred boundaries between work, relaxation, and social interaction.
Among the highlights is the revival of the iconic
Amanta Sofa by the renowned Italian designer Mario Bellini, originally launched in 2025 during the '3 Days of Design' event. This stunning piece, characterized by its elegant curves and premium materials, exemplifies HAY's commitment to contemporary aesthetics and design functionality. Additionally, visitors will be treated to firsthand glimpses of the
Perforated Cabinet by Muller Van Severen and the vibrant tableware collection,
La Pittura, designed by Emma Kohlmann.
To enhance your visit, guests can also experience two standout pieces within Tamitu, the honey brand located inside HAY Tokyo: Niels Jørgen Haugesen’s
X-Line Chair and Muller Van Severen’s
Ceramic Table. These pieces will allow you to engage with innovative design concepts that blend style and practicality.
The Concept of 'Weaving Your Space'
HAY's philosophy for this exhibition is founded on the idea that our living spaces are continuously evolving. The noticeable fading of boundaries allows for new interpretations of personal environments. As people work, dine, relax, and gather in shared spaces, the goal is to create setups that inspire comfort and connection.
The curation of this exhibition has been spearheaded by leading figures in the design community, including Shuutaro Yaguchi of the interior shop
YOU ARE WELCOME and interior stylist Yusuke Takeuchi. They have explored the collaboration between movable systems and aluminum frameworks to express the concept of
'Interface', demonstrating how flexible designs can spark imagination and create personalized atmospheres.
In these curated spaces, the focus is on fostering interactions, exchanges, and building relationships, highlighting how HAY envisions future living styles enhanced by their latest products. Visitors are encouraged to immerse themselves in this vision of community and creativity.
