Roppongi Tsutaya Winter Concert 2025
The Roppongi Tsutaya Bookstore, situated in the heart of Minato, Tokyo, will host the
Roppongi Winter Concert from December 5 (Friday) to December 7 (Sunday), 2025, showcasing talented music students in a series of mini-concerts. This exciting event will take place in the café space on the first floor, providing an intimate setting where attendees can relish the charm of live performances set against a backdrop of festive holiday illuminations.
This concert is part of the ongoing
Roppongi Project, initiated by Roppongi Tsutaya Bookstore to foster the growth of future creators. The project collaborates with academic institutions and students and aims to offer performance opportunities to skilled aspiring musicians. The main visuals for the event are designed by current students from the Tokyo University of the Arts, specifically by graphic designer and photographer asalcage from the university's Department of Design.
Featured Performers
Contrabass Duo
- - Jang Phil Keun (2nd year, Graduate School of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts): With accolades from various competitions in South Korea, he is currently studying at the Tokyo University of the Arts after attending the Korea National University of Arts.
- - Matsumoto Keisuke (3rd year, Department of Musical Instruments): Winner of the 2024 All-Japan String Competition and multiple awards in various music contests, he is recognized for his solo performances with orchestras.
Female Vocal Ensemble
- -Bon appétit!!!: A diverse group of 11 students from the Vocal Department, Tokyo University of the Arts, focusing on making music accessible to everyone, will present a special female edition during this concert.
String Trio
- - Hanayama Ayane (2nd year, Department of Musical Instruments): A talented violinist, she has achieved prestige in multiple music competitions and is recognized for her excellence.
- - Majima Saya (2nd year, Vocal Department): A multi-talented artist interested in bridging music with art management.
- - Yokoi Haruka (2nd year, Department of Musicology): An aspiring producer researching the relationship between music and society.
Brass Trio
- - Watanabe Tomoyo (2nd year, Department of Musical Instruments): An accomplished player who has performed with renowned orchestras.
- - Shinohara Kaede (2nd year, Department of Musical Instruments): Honored for her performances in national competitions.
- - Neichi Megumi (2nd year, Department of Musical Instruments): Recipient of a short-term overseas training grant for her artistic pursuits.
Jazz Duo
- - Majima Saya (2nd year, Vocal Department) and Eda Shion (3rd year, Department of Composition): Together, they focus on traditional instruments, creating unique musical experiences with their project.

The event will be held in the café space on the first floor of Roppongi Tsutaya Bookstore. Admission is free, and each performance is expected to last approximately 30 minutes, with the same repertoire played for each performance.
