XCMG and Sarens Join Forces to Revolutionize Heavy Lifting Operations

XCMG and Sarens Unite for Heavy Lifting Advancement

On May 16, 2025, XCMG Machinery Co. Ltd. and the Sarens Group forged a strategic partnership aimed at revolutionizing the heavy lifting sector. Recognized as a global leader in construction machinery production, XCMG has collaborated with Sarens, an international giant in crane rental services, to enhance operational efficiency in heavy lifting operations.

As part of this innovative collaboration, XCMG has successfully delivered the first batch of its groundbreaking five-axle all-terrain cranes, the XCA250G7-1E, tailored specifically for the European market. This significant development underscores XCMG's commitment to innovation and design excellence in machinery manufacturing. Sarens will incorporate these advanced cranes into its fleet, thereby augmenting its capacity to manage complex lifting tasks with greater precision, efficiency, and reliability.

The XCA250G7-1E crane boasts a multitude of intelligent technologies. One standout feature is the variable support technology, which allows crane operators to adjust the length of each stabilizer to 25, 50, 75, or 100 percent depending on the job site, enabling effective operation in confined spaces or challenging terrains. Additionally, the automated counterweight attachment system detects swing angle and counterweight position, allowing for seamless one-button operation that enhances safety and efficiency. The load telescoping feature further extends the boom's range safely with loads up to 40 percent of its rated capacity, improving operational range by 30 to 50 percent while maintaining safety during lifts.

Feedback from clients regarding the intelligent control system for single operators has been overwhelmingly positive, particularly noting its utility during labor shortages. With a responsive touchscreen interface reminiscent of a high-end smartphone, operators can manage tasks more easily. UK clients have praised the crane's robust construction and spacious cabin equipped with advanced technologies, including a bird's-eye view feature. Dutch clients highlighted the user-focused design of the XCA series, which includes a panoramic windshield and a recessed console, increasing visibility by over 40 percent.

“This partnership with Sarens marks a new chapter in our mission to provide first-class solutions for heavy lifting and construction projects,” stated Rafael Romao, Sales Director of XCMG Europe. “The XCA250G7-1E exemplifies our dedication to delivering innovative, high-performance machinery tailored to the global market.”

The strategic cooperation agreement between XCMG and Sarens sets the foundation for a long-term collaboration, leveraging both companies’ complementary strengths to expand their global presence, minimize costs, and drive further innovation.

Jan L. Sarens, a Board Member and Chief Commercial Officer at Sarens, expressed pride in collaborating with XCMG, emphasizing a shared vision for innovation and excellence. “This partnership enhances our ability to meet the growing demands of the industry and solidifies our position as leaders in heavy lifting and engineering transport,” he remarked.

As these two industry giants unite their resources and expertise, the future of heavy lifting operations appears brighter than ever. With technological advancements and innovative solutions, XCMG and Sarens are positioning themselves at the forefront of the heavy equipment sector, ready to tackle the demands of modern construction challenges.
