A Healthy Financial Overview



Reflecting on BRI’s financial standing, President Director Sunarso stated that this interim distribution indicates the bank's strong health and performance while reaffirming its commitment to doing right by its shareholders. He further assured that the dividend distribution would not compromise BRI’s capital adequacy. "All investment needs have been successfully met, and provisions are in place to address potential risks," stated Sunarso with confidence.

As of the conclusion of Q3 2024, BRI reported a consolidated net profit of Rp45.36 trillion. In terms of loan disbursement, the bank extended loans totaling Rp1,353.36 trillion by the end of September 2024, marking an 8.21% year-on-year (YoY) growth. Impressively, a large portion—approximately 81.70% or Rp1,105.70 trillion—of these loans was directed towards Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), underscoring BRI's strong support for this crucial sector.

Additionally, BRI's assets have shown a healthy YoY increase of 5.94%, reaching Rp1,961.92 trillion. The bank has also managed to maintain strong asset quality, evidenced by an improvement in its Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio, which decreased from 3.07% to 2.90% for the comparative period. Furthermore, the Loan at Risk (LAR) ratio also showed improvement, falling from 13.80% in Q3 2023 to 11.66% in Q3 2024.
