Launch of 'Kiso DAN!': A Beginner-Friendly Dance Program Starting in October

Introduction of 'Kiso DAN!'

Starting from October 1, 2025, Tipness, a prominent fitness club operating across the Kanto, Kansai, and Tokai regions, will launch its new studio lesson program, 'Kiso DAN!' This innovative dance program is specifically designed for beginners, especially those who have felt challenged by existing dance classes. 'Kiso DAN!' aims to elevate participants' physical abilities and stimulate their brains through rhythmic training and fundamental dance steps in a fun and inviting environment.

Addressing the Challenges of Dance

As dance continues to gain popularity, marked by the incorporation into school curricula and the establishment of D-League, more individuals are looking to join the dance community. Despite the growing interest, many still view dance as intimidating. Common sentiments include, "I want to try, but I lack confidence," or "I fear I won't be able to keep up." This feedback led to the creation of 'Kiso DAN!,' designed to serve as an ultra-beginner program that bridges the gap for those who may feel apprehensive about starting.

The program focuses on contemporary and approachable street dance styles that are intended to be enjoyable even for those new to dance. With an emphasis on accessibility, 'Kiso DAN!' is crafted to ensure that anyone can appreciate the joy of dancing, regardless of their starting point.

An Approach that Makes Learning Easy

The lessons in 'Kiso DAN!' break down dance elements into manageable stages, allowing participants to grasp the basics step-by-step. The journey begins with simply getting into rhythm with the music, progressing to engaging the core, and eventually moving through footwork and upper body coordination. By starting from the fundamentals, participants accumulate small victories, making dance feel achievable.

As they continue to engage in these programs, they experience improvements in core stability, agility, and coordination, as well as brain activation. The ultimate goal of 'Kiso DAN!' is to allow everyone to discover the joy of dance and promote health through physical activity.
