This notable collaboration saw the presence of the Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, accompanied by his wife, Dr. Tuanku Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil. The impactful work of Professor Dato’ Sri Dr. Mike Chan spans over a decade, commencing in Baoding, China, where he trained pediatric teams to enhance diagnostic accuracy and early detection of autism. These formative efforts have been instrumental in shaping his long-term approach to neurological developmental disorders.

His wellness centers have systematically documented crucial biological patterns in autistic children, identifying severe gut dysfunction and heavy metal accumulation as significant issues. Professor Chan elucidated to attendees at the Bangkok Summit, saying, "The gut holds more neurons than the brain. If the gut isn’t healed, the child cannot heal."

His care model is precision-based, merging gut mucosal precursors with targeted support for specific brain regions. This targeted organ-specific strategy aligns with findings published in his Human Cytology Atlas, which maps over 400 human cell types.
