Free Hands-On Seminar on Claude Code Experience in Tokyo for DX Personnel

Transforming Business Processes with AI: The Claude Code Seminar

On August 4 and 5, 2026, TeamSparta held a free hands-on seminar titled "Claude Code Experience for DX Personnel" at the KOTRA Tokyo IT Support Center in Kasumigaseki, Tokyo. This event was designed for a select group of DX specialists, limiting attendance to just 15 participants per session, with a total of 24 attendees from 16 different companies.

From Inquiry to Automation

With the rise of chatbots like ChatGPT, businesses are now searching for the next step in integrating AI into their operations. Claude Code is designed as an AI agent capable of executing tasks such as research, analysis, and document preparation based on user instructions. Unlike traditional chatbots that operate in a question-and-answer format, Claude Code functions directly on the user's PC, managing an entire workflow autonomously.

What sets Claude Code apart is its capacity to install software or perform programming on the user’s computer after obtaining confirmation, allowing it to continuously process tasks until goals are achieved. Participants witnessed first-hand how this AI agent successfully completed various work assignments using natural language commands.

A Three-Hour Journey from Understanding to Implementation

The hands-on seminar was structured around three key steps, allowing participants to go from basic understanding to practical application in just three hours:

1. Fundamental Understanding: An overview of AI agents and the differences between Claude Code and traditional chatbots.
2. Hands-On Experience: Participants received various work materials to experience data analysis, research, and slide preparation automation directly on their own PCs.
3. Skill Building: Instead of ending with a one-off operation, attendees learned how to make this automated process repeatable and sustainable within their organizations.

The third part, focusing on skill-building, received particularly enthusiastic feedback. Participants transitioned from queries about "What is an AI agent?" to "Can I delegate this specific task?" within just an hour of the session. This shift is credited to experiential learning, where participants actively interacted with the AI agent during the seminar.

As noted by Tomohito Koarada, Japan Country Manager of TeamSparta, "The real challenge in advancing DX in Japanese companies isn’t a lack of tools but rather who takes the first step. We believe facilitating that initial step by empowering DX personnel can lead to the most concrete changes. We aim to make this experience a permanent part of their organizational processes, not just a fleeting moment."

Looking Ahead: Additional Seminar Scheduled for September
