D-Robotics Secures $400 Million Series C Funding, Pushing Robotics Industry Forward

D-Robotics Secures $400 Million in Series C Funding

In a strategic move to bolster its position in the rapidly evolving robotics sector, D-Robotics has announced the successful conclusion of its Series C funding round, raising a substantial $400 million. This funding round has garnered participation from a leading internet company alongside renowned investment institutions, effectively scaling their strategic investments. Notably, existing investors also contributed further investments, reflecting strong confidence in the company's vision.

This latest round of financing will be pivotal in extending D-Robotics' product portfolio, specifically focusing on various models of their innovative Sunrise™ chip series. The initiative aims to develop a comprehensive software platform that will streamline the entire robotic development chain. By doing so, D-Robotics intends to create an integrated hardware-software infrastructure tailored for AI robots, accommodating diverse scenarios ranging from sophisticated robotic categories to more versatile humanoid robots.

A Surge in Business

In the first half of 2026, D-Robotics has experienced extraordinary growth. Compared to the previous year, their sales surged dramatically, with cumulative shipments of the Sunrise™ chips exceeding 8 million units. The company's focus on embodied AI has entered mass production, leading to extensive validation of its integrated hardware-software AI infrastructure on a large scale.

Among the flagship products introduced is the Sunrise™ S600, a computing chip designed for embodied AI, which has seen adoption by over 20 leading clients within just six months of its launch in November 2025. Notable partners include TARS, Spirit AI, X Square Robot, UBTECH, PaXini Tech, Astribot, FOURIER, and Booster Robotics, covering sectors such as humanoid robotics, industrial wheeled robots, flexible manufacturing in consumer electronics, embodied base models, and omnidirectional sensing, with most already in mass production.

The Expanded D-Robotics Gravity Program

D-Robotics has recently expanded its Gravity Program (DGP), which offers extensive support for robotics innovators. This initiative encompasses everything from product development to supply chain selection and market entry strategies, as well as capital-raising roadshows. The program has thus far aided more than 500 robotics innovators across 10 unique categories, including open-source humanoids, AI sports coaching, embodied AI models, AI imaging, and home companion robots. Several products have achieved breakthrough successes and are currently being delivered at scale.

In addition, over 500 universities and more than 100,000 developers from over 20 countries have created hundreds of AI robots on the D-Robotics platform, now utilized by millions of users worldwide. This impressive community exemplifies the expansive reach and impact of the D-Robotics technology.
