In an effort to support the growth of manufacturing startups, the initiative is now accepting applications from entrepreneurs looking to bring their product ideas to fruition. Target Applicants

Duration of Support


Assistance will commence following the program's selection in late August 2023, continuing until the end of March 2024. In a consecutive second year, additional support may be available for previous participants, with plans to accept up to six businesses based on previous engagements.

1. Manufacturing Matching Assistance: The program will connect startups with potential manufacturing partners in the Tama region.
2. Hands-on Support: Guidance will be provided in various areas including development planning, project management, market testing, mentorship, and referrals to potential collaborators.
3. Financial Assistance: Funding support will cover prototyping and verification costs based on submitted development plans, with a maximum cap of 3 million yen in the first year and 10 million yen in the second year. This funding is directed toward comprehensive prototype development aimed at mass production.
