In a significant development, Fox Corporation has disclosed that Adam Ciongoli, the Chief Legal and Policy Officer, will step down from his role, effective December 1, 2026. This marks the conclusion of his tenure, during which he has been instrumental in guiding the company's legal and policy directions.

Ciongoli, who has held the position for three years, is not leaving the company entirely. Instead, he will transition to a special advisory role where he will continue to support Fox Corporation until June 2028. His departure as Chief Legal and Policy Officer comes at a time of notable growth and innovation within the organization, prompting a fresh perspective for its legal team.

Lachlan Murdoch, Executive Chair and CEO of Fox Corporation, expressed gratitude towards Ciongoli for his contributions over the years. "I deeply appreciate his service to FOX and am grateful that he will continue to serve FOX as a special advisor. Nick Trutanich has been a critical member of the FOX team since joining the Company five years ago and will bring deep legal, litigation, and compliance experience to this expanded role," stated Murdoch.

With Ciongoli's stepping down, Nicholas Trutanich, who currently holds the position of Executive Vice President and Principal Deputy General Counsel, will take over as the new General Counsel of Fox Corporation, also effective December 1. His extensive background encompasses a diverse range of legal expertise, situating him as a fitting successor to Ciongoli.

Trutanich joined Fox Corporation as Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer in 2021 and has since advanced within the organization. Prior to his current role, he served as the U.S. Attorney for the District of Nevada and has held senior positions at the Nevada Attorney General's Office and the U.S. Department of Justice. His varied experience in the legal arena is expected to further enhance the company's legal framework and operational strategies.
