New 'Train Navita' Installation at Tanashi Station

In an exciting development for train passengers and local residents, a new 'Train Navita' has been installed at Tanashi Station, inspired by the Seibu Railway's 40000 series train. This initiative is brought to you by Display Light Co., Ltd., headquartered in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, and spearheaded by President Takahiro Tokuma.

The 'Train Navita' is part of a broader initiative to provide comprehensive area guides, enhancing the public transit experience. It aligns with the company's existing offerings, which include various types of navigation systems like 'Station Navita,' designed for railway stations, 'City Navita,' for local government offices, and 'Public Navita,' intended for police-related facilities. Collectively, these systems have been implemented in over 4,000 locations across the nation, contributing significantly to the infrastructure that supports public transport. Notably, 'Station Navita' alone has been installed in approximately 2,400 stations, covering more than 80% of the major railway stations—those with daily passenger counts exceeding 30,000.

The installation at Tanashi Station is particularly significant due to its strategic location—a mere 20 minutes from Seibu Shinjuku Station via express services. In the 2024 fiscal year, it is projected that Tanashi Station will see an average of about 68,058 passengers daily, according to the Seibu Railway's ridership data.

The 'Train Navita' encapsulates the essence of the 40000 series, with its concept of being a commuter train that is friendly and inclusive. The design incorporates the distinctive corporate colors of the Seibu Group, artfully blending the verdant green of the mountains and the expansive blue of the sky along the Seibu line. With its rounded shapes and refined design featuring connected units, 'Train Navita' has become an eye-catching piece that invites interaction, enriching the station environment.

Display Light Co., Ltd. aims to enhance not only the utility but also the enjoyment of using these navigational maps. By offering visual aids and local information, the company aspires to create joyful experiences for individuals navigating through and around the station. As they continue to innovate, the hope is to bring smiles and connections to all who interact with their products.

Overall, the 'Train Navita' at Tanashi Station represents a blend of technology, design, and community service, underscoring the critical role of public transport in everyday life. Stay tuned for more updates from Display Light as they pursue future enhancements to the navigational systems throughout Japan.
