Fiace Home Expands Guarantee System
Fiace Home, a prominent housing franchise chain under the LIXIL Housing Research Institute, is set to enhance its long-term guarantee system for residential properties. Starting from July 1, 2025, new contracts for homes will feature expanded guarantee periods for structural integrity, waterproofing, and termite prevention. This move aims to provide customers with an assured living experience.
The objective of Fiace Home is to create homes that offer unparalleled comfort throughout the seasons while combining simplicity and aesthetic appeal. The company understands the importance of quality and safety in housing, which has led to the introduction of various innovative guarantees over the years. For instance, in September 2024, they will launch an earthquake guarantee that covers repair and reconstruction costs up to 100% of the property’s selling price, ensuring that residents can feel secure even in the face of natural disasters.
Recently, Fiace Home announced that it will extend the initial warranty period for structural, waterproof, and termite prevention features from 10 years to 20 years. This means that potential issues affecting the home during the initial years will have longer coverage periods, allowing homeowners to feel more secure about their investment. Furthermore, regular paid inspections and maintenance can now allow homeowners to extend their warranty up to a maximum of 60 years post-delivery.
Currently, Fiace Home is already providing a rock-solid 20-year ground guarantee. With the new changes, they will be one of the few housing companies in Japan offering such comprehensive coverage, thereby elevating the standard for guarantees in the housing industry. This commitment to ensuring top-tier housing quality extends not just to the physical durability of homes but also includes environmentally conscious practices, like passive design that effectively harnesses natural energies.
Fiace Home aims to address pressing issues such as climate change through enhanced insulation and airtightness, combining comfort with eco-friendliness. Their philosophy,
