Exploring Solutions to Empty House Issues and Poor Labor Conditions through Business Innovation

Addressing Social Challenges through Business

The ongoing issues of vacant houses and poor labor conditions are pressing social challenges that require innovative solutions. To address these issues, SA Corporation, based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has initiated a unique opportunity for media representatives and business leaders facing similar challenges. Under the banner "Transforming Society through Business," SA will host exclusive one-on-one sessions where participants can engage with CEO Yasuhiro Sakai directly.

Why This Session Matters

SA specializes in resolving complex real estate issues, handling over 10,000 inquiries annually about properties that traditional companies often overlook. With a focus on shared interests, properties with building restrictions, and difficult-to-navigate real estate categories, Sakai's expertise as a real estate appraiser has allowed him to transform over 600 distressed properties into valuable assets each year.

However, this journey hasn’t been without its challenges. The company has faced difficulties with employee retention in a high-stress environment. Having learned from the bitter experiences of the past, SA has adopted a highly performance-based evaluation system devoid of personal biases. By fostering an enjoyable work atmosphere—spearheaded by the establishment of the "Clean Employment Planner" certification for harassment prevention—SA offers a unique management approach that harmonizes psychological safety with high productivity.

An Invitation to Engage

The upcoming interaction sessions are not just an opportunity for Q&A; they are a chance to dive deep into the real, gritty details of running a business in challenging sectors. Participants will have the chance to explore key topics, including:

1. The Behind-the-Scenes of Business: What is the negotiation process like for shared ownership properties? What strategies can companies use to unlock the potential of distressed real estate?

2. Organizational Management: How does a meritocracy with a focus on concrete results lead to zero tolerance for harassment?

3. Candid Leadership Insights: What fierce challenges has Sakai faced that shaped his belief that work should be enjoyable?

These themes will be explored in detail during the sessions with the CEO, and he will provide candid answers with no questions off-limits.

Session Details

The one-on-one sessions will be tailored to individual needs and will take place at SA's new office located on the 17th floor of the Kioicho Building in Chiyoda.
